As the Bard goes to SixMoons, is exclaimed as a ‘Stroke of Genius’, takes a spin at Gramophone and makes music at the HiFi News the Sedley is hailed in Hong Kong and Japan picking up and Audio Excellence Award on the way. Oh and an amp gets product of the year.

The Bard system wins Audio Excellence Award in Japan. Alabaster “[Probably!]The best amplifier ever made” gets a product of the year award amongst other accolades. Stereophile deems Bards ‘Wireless Wonders’ as we dance with Los Angeles.

The Sedley in its USB guise gets the Audio Excellence Award treatment from our Japanese friends this time whilst the Bard gets an ‘audiohead’ recommendation in the Gaurdian.

The Sonneteer Morpheus Music Centre launches at CES Las Vegas. Much copied but never bettered.

The mainstream media catches site of the Sonneteer Morpheus as UKTI Awards Sonneteer a place at British Designs and Innovations preview at CES Las Vegas. Reviews pop up in many languages including our native English. Audio Excellence Award bestowed on Morpheus too.

The (silent) Morpheus Server was launched to marry with the Morpheus music centre. Before SSDs became affordable, Sonneteer used reverse back to back hard drive mounting to achieve near silent operational performance. Our CD players also got an upgrade and another award.

The Alabaster gets an upgrade and a phonostage, the Orton gets another big review and we tell you a little secret. “I’ll tell you how much I like it: I’m now feeling a bit of a fool for gushing so much over previous amplifiers I’ve reviewed…I have listened and listened,to everything from Nirvana to Handel and it has never put a foot wrong. in fact it hasn’t once failed to put a grin on my face.” etc. The Campion and Morpheus are retired.

The Sonneteer Orton Mark Four is announced with both aesthetic and under the bonnet uplifts. Metal buttons, a machined metal handset and more sonic silk grace eyes and ears. In the meantime, Sonneteer announce their last ever CD players and hint at project called, Heartbeat!
