Shows and buses

We wait for shows all year and suddenly they are happening everywhere. Sonneteer have as good as been on a world tour in the last couple of weeks and it looks to be going on through the spring.

The Audio Festa in Nagoya, Japan hosted Sonneteer represented by Allegro and their head man Kyoji Arai. He had the Sonneteer Morpheus Music Centre and Server on show as well as the Sedley phono stage both of which have had recent award success in the land of the rising Sun.

Sonneteer have also recently been exposed or shown off, should we say, at Axpona in Jacksonville Florida. May Audio Marketing of New York state with Nizar Akhrass at its helm have been faithfully preaching the virtues of hi-fi utopia to the masses for more than 30 years now. The Sonneteer gospel has been a strong component of their sermons for many a year now. They too see the Sonneteer Morpheus Music centre and Server as the guiding light on the path to aural paradise for all music lovers.

Sonneteer Morpheus Server Debuts at The Consumer Electronics Show In Las Vegas January 2010

It rips, it stores, it shows up on the Morpheus Music Centre and all while you are making a cup of tea! all in glorious WAV or FLAC and you can have it in MP3 if you will. Naturally, Sonneteer would prefer you to store everything in an uncompressed format to enjoy playing it back through the Morpheus in all its glory.

The Morpheus Server, as it will be known, will be officially launched at CES this January as Sonneteer will be showing between the 7th and 10th at the Venetian Hotel, Suite 29-310. The set up will be resembling  that of a normal home with a living room and a dining area both with a Morpheus Music Centre installed and a Server neatly places to, ehem, serve them both.

Sonneteer will also have an iPod Touch handy to demonstrate how any number of their Music Centres and Servers can be controlled from such a device. It also works with the iPhone. All you need is to download the Plug Player application for a minimal cost (£2.99 in the UK).

Album art is displayed and play lists set as music in different parts of the house can be set and adjusted whilst sitting on the sofa and sipping that, aforementioned, cup of tea.

We promise a  few more details very shortly as well as pictures and news from the show itself.

For more information and some high resolution images please got to the Press release www.sonneteer.co.uk/press_release_server.htm

Sonneteer fly the British colours and many others at the Venetian Las Vegas this CES

The annual pilgrimage to CES takes place again this January and as all the major players in the Consumer Electronics Industry squeeze into buses, trains and planes, Sonneteer too take to the skys.

Showing off at the Venetian Hotel suite 29-310 from January 7th through to the 10th Sonneteer will have set up the mock renaissance room to look like a typical apartment with a luxury home entertainment system gracing it's living and dinning room areas.

The designers, Remo Casadei and Haider Bahrani will be on hand to take questions, demonstrate the performance and even share the Las Vegas hospitality. The Sonneteer Morpheus will be on show and their recently announced range of colours will be vividly on display. New will be the eagerly anticipated Morpheus Server which will be announced properly on these news pages shortly as the razzmatazz of the show is in full voice.

Sharing the stage with Sonneteer this year will be Penaudio who are very much partners in the industry as they often share design expertise, marketing platforms and the odd vodka.

Penaudio themselves will be launching the next generation of their Ambient range as they adopt a higher end stance akin to their sister range, the famed Classic Penaudios. For more goto www.penaudio.fi

Shown here are the Chronos loudspeaker which are available in a range of colours and wood finishes. The designer, Sami Pentilla voiced these using Sonneteer amplifiers such as the Alabaster and the Orton. Both of which grace Panaudio mansions.

"Customers can now enjoy a system from both Sonneteer and Penaudio and have the whole thing delivered in the colour of their choice" said Haider Bahrani in conversation with our editor. He was also reminded by Remo[Casadei] that "If customers have any interesting requirements then we can sit down with them and see how we can best meet their needs". He was, of course, referring to the numerous colour possibilities on tap for the products.

Sonneteer step into the lap of the god of dreams.

Sonneteer step into the lap of the god of dreams.
"A music centre, by Sonneteer; Morpheus the god of your dreams, brings together all the modern ways to play stored music, as well as allowing a few of the old.
If it be the 14000+ radio station, the 20000+ on demand stations or all the music now stored on the compueter hard disk, the Morpheus playes them all in that famous Sonneteer quality Sonneteer have not lost their traditional roots with this machine as all their knowledge and experince has been harnessed and pumped into it..

Launched with the help of UKTI at the January Consumer Electronics show in Las Vegas, Sonneteer have now launched the Moprheus in the UK after a successful roll outs in Japan, USA, and Europe amongst others.
Reveiwise the Morpheus has already been exceptionally well received with top of the table reports from Japan, korea and more recntly France. With more sure to follow.
It streams CD quality music, plays internet radio, reads your memory stick and even plays music off mobile phones.

Wired or wireless, the Sonneteer Morpheus has just about everything. It is an integrated amplifier and all media player in one. Sits on the side board, hangs on the wall or stand mounts, it fits anywhere. Is traditional hi-fi dead? Well Sonneteer dont quite go that far and insist that separates still have their place in high end audio, but outside of vinyl, the whole industry is looking for something fresh and new and, of course good.
Could the Morpheus be just that? Sonneteer certainly think so. More in this vein is promissed soon too.
